All about me.
I have been in Estate Agency since 2002, I am proud to be an estate agent, and I love helping other people move home.
I have a family whom I love very much, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and also some very special friends who are like family. I love what I do, I love helping other people, and I genuinely believe you reap what you sow. I give one hundred per cent to everything, whether it be family, friend or client, it’s what I do. I guess I am a little bit old school and believe in honouring my word. If I say I will do something, I do it.
I began my journey in Estate Agency in 2002 and have sold property both abroad in Spain and here in the UK. I have always had an interest in buildings and architecture. I remember when I was a teenager saying I wanted to be an Estate Agent! I guess you should always follow your dreams!
I grew up in Hornchurch but moved to Harold Hill in the 1980s, and my children all went to school here. I have seen the area change and develop over the years and am amazed by the local beauty spots we have right here on our doorstep. Although I moved away to live in Spain for several years, when I came back, I came straight back to live in Harold Hill, in a house a few doors away from my original home! So I am a bit of a boomerang, and ‘The Hill’ as it is fondly known, is very much my home.
My three children all went to school here on ‘The Hill’ and have great memories of going to the ‘Manor’ and ‘Central Park’ as young children. I have always tried to guide them as they grew up, to work hard at school and then later in their chosen careers and be willing to learn new things continually. Whatever they decided to do, I have supported them, and they all know my work ethics to go over and above and treat people how you wish to be treated.
Two of my grown-up children have been involved in my business part-time over the years, and both hope to join me full-time in the not too distant future.
Starting my Keller Williams Journey.
Building your dream business for your family is my big ‘Why’ I do what I do, and I hope to leave a legacy for them all to benefit from.
I partnered with Keller Williams as their model is the only one that fits the way I work in this business of Real Estate. High Street Agencies cannot deliver a personally tailored service to every client. With me, you are not just a number, not just a fee, you are a valued human being, and I will do everything to make your home move an enjoyable and memorable journey. I don’t just sell houses! I help people find their dream home.
The pandemic has had a huge impact globally, and for me, it has been a real eye-opener on how Estate Agency is, or was, carried out in general. Many agencies had great difficulty operating as they were not able to work from home. They didn’t have the technology to do so. That had an enormous impact on their business, and many transactions dropped by the wayside during that time. For me, I have been used to remote working for many years, so there was no adaption needed, and Keller Williams has ‘state of the art’ technology to support their agents across the world.
So except for the ‘full lockdown’ where we couldn’t do actual house visits, we were able to continue in our business with little disruption to our clients.
Keller Williams is the only company I know of that could adapt and continue to roll during this very testing time.
As I have been in Estate Agency for a long time, much of my business comes from recommendations, and that will continue, but during the pandemic, I decided to focus more on my local community. It’s far more enjoyable building relationships with people we know and trust, and I believe a considerable gap is missing when using an Estate Agent. An agent should be willing to help without the expectation of short-term business. I want to support the community - if that means advice on extending a property, local tradespeople to use, regular updates on the housing market, and building relationships - that is what I enjoy.
So that’s me and why I am starting to focus more on the RM3 area.
What are my objectives?
If you need advice on anything property related, I would like to be the one you call. If you choose to sell, I would like to be one of the people you call. If you decide to buy, I would love to help you find the right home for you. Anything ‘Property’ I would like to be the one you call.
