 2) Have a copy of your credit file when you speak to banks and your broker. 
3) If you need a mortgage, speak to a broker and get an AIP from a lender. 
4) Know how much your budget is before you start looking.
 5) Be prepared to show your proof of funds when you make an offer on a property 
6) Don’t offer more than you can afford to pay – stick to your budget.
 7) If you really like a place, make your offer! In the current market, if you delay in offering you may well miss the boat!
