I often get asked the difference between a Realtor and a conventional High Street Agent.
 There are many differences, but I will cover a few of the most important ones. 
 As a Realtor, we offer you a personal service tailored to your moving needs. Realtors are business owners who take on low numbers of clients to dedicate more time to each sale. Ensuring they can give the service level needed to help you get the best price for your property and help you find your next home.


 We are available to our clients outside of usual business hours. We build relationships and take pride in helping our clients achieve their goals when moving home.
 We don’t have someone breathing down our necks to hit targets! Because our model is designed to work on low numbers and provide a service, not get as many listings as possible that are then not appropriately managed. You cannot maintain a high-level service if you take on too many clients at one time.


 We network. We have a massive network of agents working together across, not just the country we live in, but in our particular case, worldwide. 
 We can often sell a property before it has even gone to the open market.
 We build relationships that last. Clients who use a Realtor rather than a high street agent know they want a high level of service and good communication throughout the moving process. As we deal with a small number of clients, we can do this. The client deals with one person through the whole transaction. Me!


 We get paid on our results, and as we are the business owners, we achieve a higher income level.
 High Street Agents are employed and driven by targets. When they come to value your property, their only intention is to get you signed up, so they meet their listing target. If that means over-valuing the marketing price, they will do it just to get the listing. Instead, they are pressured by numbers to sign up for anything even if it is overpriced, which ultimately means it won’t sell.
 The most significant difference between a Realtor and a High Street Agent is the level of customer service that the client receives.


 Your home is usually the biggest asset that you have. So when it comes to moving, you need someone who will help you to not just get the best price but to understand the whole purpose behind your reason for moving. Then to help you achieve that goal. 
 Our model is designed around you, the client, and the High Street Agents model is all about the numbers.
 I now have many clients who have become almost like friends. I get invited to BBQs and gatherings. I even have one client whom I take shopping, as she is elderly and needs a little help now and then. 


Being a Realtor is a way of life, not just a job. I value my clients, care about them, and want to help them.
